Community Contributions

At Waste Management in Northwest Arkansas, we are committed to sharing resources with our communities. We support this commitment through our corporate giving program, which provides grants, scholarships, donated services and other support to local schools and community organizations.

In addition, Waste Management contributes more than $65,000 in financial and in-kind support to many community organizations in Northwest Arkansas. Funds are donated to organizations involved in educational programs, environmental activities and public safety. This financial support helps improve the quality of life for area residents, the organizations they support and the community as a whole.

Here are just some of the company's community activities:

  • Waste Management provides cardboard event boxes, liners and solid waste services to numerous community events such as the City of Rogers Frisco Festival, the City of Springdale Featherfest, the City of Tontitown Grape Festival.

  • Waste Management makes financial contributions and provides in-kind services to local organizations such as the Razorback Foundation, University of Arkansas Century Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Mercy Health Center Foundation, Adult Development Center Foundation, Rebuilding Northwest Arkansas, and Habitat for Humanity.

  • Waste Management provides complimentary refuse service for University of Arkansas athletic events as well as sponsors local high school athletic booster organizations.
