Supplemental Environmental Projects
In April 2004, Waste Management finalized
and ADEQ accepted the following Supplemental Environmental
Projects to be completed over the coming year.
Project Names:
WM Tontitown Landfill, LLC ("WMTL") entered
into Consent Administrative Order 02-054 on August 30, 2002
in full settlement of all alleged violations set forth in
the related Notice of Violation that was issued by ADEQ on
April 26, 2002. Pursuant to the CAO, WMTL was required to
propose and perform one or more Supplemental Environmental
Projects with aggregate expenditures of at least $125,000
in WMTL funds. WMTL has directed the SEP funds to the five
separate environmental projects described above.
